The answer was given. Nobody kept it.
A new hire asks in #engineering, a senior engineer answers. Within the hour, the reply is buried under a deploy notification and a lunch poll.
So, days later the question is asked again. Which is how the same question reaches the same expert for the fifth time in a month.
Three clicks on a conversation that already happened
A teammate saves the thread.
Anyone on the team can open Save to Pravodha from the thread and add a title, a department and tags in one step.
A source tag is added automatically. You can add up to 3 more.
AI-assisted capture organizes it.
The thread becomes a searchable entry with a summary and topic tags. The full conversation stays attached behind the summary to retain the context.
| @ acmeEach tenant gets its own subdomain, so the tenant is resolved from the hostname before any application logic runs. Cookies are scoped per subdomain, which stops one tenant's session being replayed against another. The tradeoff is DNS and certificate management, handled per tenant today.
The author gets the credit.
The entry carries the name of the person who answered. Colleagues like and bookmark what helped, and those likes build expertise badges on the author's profile, from grey at 1 to 4 likes up to gold at 20.
- Grey: 1 to 4 likes
- Blue: 5 to 9 likes
- Green: 10 to 19 likes
- Gold: 20 or more likes

What the next person sees
A search returns the saved answer with its summary, the author's name, the reply count and the tags. The full thread sits one click behind it. They get the context without interrupting the person who explained it.

Who feels the difference
The person everyone asks.
Questions stop arriving for answers that are already saved. Their name stays on every one of them.
The new hire.
Search comes before pinging. Last year's decisions and their reasons are there on day one.
The manager.
Senior people get fewer interruptions and the record of who knows what builds itself from real answers.
Slack first, with Teams and email alongside
Pravodha saves from Slack, Microsoft Teams, and forwarded email into one searchable place. Teams capture works the same way and is available for sideloading. Email chains go to your Pravodha address, come back as a draft, and publish when you approve. See the Teams page and the email page.
Questions about Slack capture
How do we save a Slack conversation?
Any teammate saves the whole thread in three clicks and adds the title, department and tags in one step. The expert who gave the answer does nothing extra.
What gets saved?
The whole thread, with a summary and topic tags. A source tag is added automatically, and up to three more can be added.
Which channels can we save from?
Any channel, including direct messages where the Pravodha app is added.
Who can see a saved entry?
Each entry is associated with a department and is visible to the people subscribed to that department. People can subscribe to as many departments as they choose.
How long does setup take?
Setup takes minutes. In the Pravodha admin section, click Slack Integrations, then Connect Slack Workspace, and authorize the Pravodha app. The admin email must match in both Slack and Pravodha.
